Democratic government is a type of government in which the leader is elected by all population or eligible population. India is world's largest democracy. India is become democratic after the freedom from British rule in 1947 it means that indian democracy is 70 years old. By democracy in India everyone get right to vote and elect their favorite representative without any discrimination on basis of cast, creed, color, religion and gender. Indian democracy gone from several layers of evaluation and it changes by time.
Indin have 1.3 billion people which is 17% of world population all living on 1/3 if we compared to U.S area. In every 5 years world biggest man show are held in India this is indian election. In 2019 election their are 900 million eligible voters in India in U.S 7 presidential elections held with this number of voters. 8,000 candidates of 450 panties are fighting for 543 seats in Lok shabha where 2 seats are reserved for candidates for anglo indian community or mixed indian. If we break down the number of voters and number of candidates so we find that 1M.P represent 1.5 million voters. Voting take place in 29 states and 7 union territories. Constituencies in state are depending on how populated the state is.
India have many arguments on government and have many economical problem so the question that comes in everyone mind is that-
How such a massive election organised in India?
Every indian election are held under the supervision of election Commission of India. 3.6 million voting machines are used in election. In India their are no voting day their are voting month election here election are held in many phases. 11 million government workers and 2.5 million security officer are working together to make this election successful. 1 million voting poll are setting up across the country. In India two voting polls are not situated more than 2 km of distance.
After the election the counting of vote are also a big task. 4,000 counting sector are open across the country. After the counting of vote are finished the results are announced and all the parties should accept the results no one can say that they don't accept the results.
